I’ve been enjoying some very relaxing weekends and lazing about instead of updating my web-site. What happened is a close friend of mine is on a holiday in Ireland for six weeks (lucky thing) and I’m house-sitting for her on the weekends. I usually like to spend my spare time making beads or pottering around in my own room where all my books and knickknacks are and in-general acting very anti-social. But I can’t believe how wonderfully relaxing her place is. The house is just so quite and close to nature I can fully enjoy my solitude and not missing my big torch, my stacks of books and all the bit and pieces that make a place home. Here’s the view that I enjoyed the most, and it right out-side the lounge room and look out into the backyard/national park. If the weather is a bit warmer I’ll be out there instead of just looking at it.

I did took my Hothead torch to her place, but so far it haven’t even see the light of day yet! :o I’ll have to make some beads this weekend to justify lugging it all the way there, or not! :p

Gee, the week really flew by for me! I've been catching up with friends in the last week (since I've been neglecting them along with everything else in my exam frenzy! :p ) so didn't do much except clean up my bead box and complete a few sets.
However I did find time to play with the new glass colours I got last week. Oh lala! The new aventurine is just what I like! I simply cannot resist anything that sparkle and glitter at me. However I did wonder why Bullseye decided to call it seaweed?!? Well seaweed is good for you and is essential for that perfect sushi roll, but it really doesn't inspire as a name for colour! Anyhow, this colour is actually a very nice and sparkling dark spring green, and I'm really glad that it is now a permanent colour.
The only problem I've got now is to convince myself to part with it! See for yourself, it actually is more sparkly in person!
