Well, that was a very short few days! I spend a lot of time at work, throw a few things in to a small suit case, made no beads and unfortunately, didn't got much done for my website either!

Darn! I need extra hour in the day not lossing an hour over night due to day light saving! Off to adjust my clock so I don't miss my fligh tomorrow!

Thank goodness I'm going on my first proper holiday (which I defined as time off not associated with homework, exam or doing a show!) in over two years.

This last week I've been so busy with work and various fun activities (such as chocolate making class and bead meeting :p ) I've totally forgot to put up my weekly eBay auctions! Which is also a good thing since I’ve been working 10 hour days and burning mid night oil to get my tax out of the way (shudder) I don’t think I would have done a good job with it. So what ever beads that I’ve got will go into the 4 sale page before I go.

I've finally got into another chocolate making class. Mmmm, there is no better way to spend the night melting, shaping and eating chocolate.

I HATE BEEN SICK! I'm the latest victim of the cold that is doing the round in the office. It's no fun at all been sick as a dog for the last three days. Aches and pains, sore throat, coughs, running nose and everything nasty. It is particularly annoying because I was going to have a very nice lunch with work colleagues on Friday and a day of bush walk with old friends on Saturday.

So instead of munching my way through the first event for 2005 Good Food Mouth in Sydney and a good day of exercise that I'm actually looking forward to, I get to lie on the sofa and swallowing one pill after another. The only positive is that I get a lot of warm cuddles from Cosmo, my sweet little fox terrier. We spend the last three days sleeping through all the day time TV!

All the drugs finally kicked in today, so the sale page is now updated and this week’s eBay auctions are in. Now I wonder what awaits me at work tomorrow?!?

Whew! The show is over! It is so much fun catching up with old friends and getting to know new faces. The beaders dinner was a big success even with my fumbling with the booking and totally lost track of the numbers. Hopefully the restaurant would have forgotten my name by next Oct when I call them to book again, hehe. ^_^

A big thanks to those of you who dropped by to say hi. You guys really made my days! I’m just sorry that I didn’t get to talk to you for long. For those of you located in Sydney, I’ve decided to do the Revesby Craft Market on Oct 22nd and Nov 26th. Hopefully I’ll have more time to chat then. If you can’t make it to the market, feel free to drop me an email now and again and let me know what you think. ;-)

As I suspected, I went over-board with my preparation for the show. So in the next couple of days I’ll update my beads pages with some of the things that I hide under the table.

The show was really a lot of fun, but I'm so exhausted after four days of running on adrenalin and two days of relentless heat that I’m almost glad to go back to work today. NOT! :p
