Well my class went really well. It is actually a somewhat boring subject on Futures Market analysis. Furtunately the lactuer really made it interesting for me so I learned a lot. Unfortunatly now I'm seeing patterns and trends every where. Arrgggg!

Besides that, since bead muse has left the building (or more accurately, the city!) I've been getting addicted to Sudoku. Its basicly a 9 by 9 grid that you have to fill in with numbers 1 to 9 whithout any number over-laping either up-down, across or in a 3-3 sub grid. It's pure logic and it's can be really frustrating and fun! Not only am I getting hooked on it, I got my Mom and sister on to it as well. We now do this fun winter activity of huddle together in the living-room solving Sudoku while the dog and cat looks on!

Eek! I almost missed out on my first class for new semester! It's whole day tomorrow so if I missed it I'll have to withdraw from it. Good thing I checked my time table way ahead of time.

My garden has been covered by frost the last few mornings which means its cold out in my studio. I know that's nothing for those of you who get snow in winter, but Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia does not prepare one for temperatures below 20 degree C! This means I have been hiding inside the house during the nights instead making beads.

What I have been doing is making chain maille bracelets. I finally got my new tools and pre-made rings that I bought. So I'm having great time sitting in front of the TV cuddling up to my dog and experiment with different designs. Just for the fun of it, I also got some brass rings and I have been mix it with silver rings for myself. I really love the look as it's a deep rose gold colour which is prettier than some of the low K gold IMHO. But so far it's not holding up at tarnish front. I'll need to look into how to tarnish resist them so I don't have to tumble them all the time.

The last few days has been so cold here that I find it difficult to get out and make beads. Instead, I had the pleasure of cuddle up with Cosmo at the front of TV and catch up on what's up with TV! However I did started on a new chain maille project I just have to wait patiently for my nice pliers to get here so I can really get into it!

Unfortunately, there is no new update in the for sale pages. Instead of taking pictures and editing them over the weekend, I had a really great time catching up with some old friends and hitting the shops. I find some cute boxes and wrapping paper so expect your next bead purchase to come with frosting! :p
